How to Play

Move your pieces according to their unique movement rules. The General can only step one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Advisors must stay within diagonal moves within the palace. Elephants move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot cross the river. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, if not impeded by adjacent pieces. Chariots move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must require a screen piece to capture exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Capture the opponent's general to win the game. Think ahead your moves carefully to defeat the computer opponent.
